A  long retreat provides a sacred container for nurturing and developing your life. Give yourself an invaluable gift:  the self-discovery that comes from an intensive period of practice and study.

A carefully structured program in meditation, Tibetan yogic relaxation, and study of mind, Healing Mind offers a foundation for those serious about their spiritual path. It also is appropriate for experienced practitioners who wish to renew and deepen their practice through systematic exploration of body and mind as set out within the Tibetan tradition. Retreatants who take the 2nd long retreat,  Living Dharma, explore ways to integrate their practice, work, family and community lives in two ways: through study and immersion in the six paramitas and inspired by study of the most recent writings of Tibetan Lama Tarthang Tulku, the fruit of his fifty years of teaching students in the West.

This is an opportunity to ask questions and to meet the retreat faculty, including Lama Palzang, Pema Gellek, Olivia Hurd, Hugh Joswick, and others, and to learn more about the new formats and retreats being offered for the first time this year at Nyingma Institute. The retreats can be taken separately, residentially or off-campus,, or as one long, integrated four month retreat.
