“Meditation is not withdrawal from life, it is an extension: we can take it with us to enrich whatever we do, wherever we go.” From Openness Mind by Tarthang Tulku

Are you interested in relaxation, the mind-body connection, or learning how to transform negative emotions? Our healing-oriented fields of study require no belief system or commitment to Buddhism. You will find support in our friendly and compassionate community and learn an array of practices to relax, heal and deeply nourish yourself. With a focus on developing wellness, our joyful, affirmative approach to meditation, Tibetan yoga, and self-knowledge fosters the development of the whole individual – body, mind, and senses.

Meditation classes guide students towards balance and ease of mind and body. Kum Nye massage and movement – a yoga from the Tibetan tradition – frees the flow of the body’s energy to achieve optimum health and vitality. Nyingma Psychology classes offer students the tools to work gently with negative emotions and transform their relationship to themselves and others.
