This workshop introduces Lotus Language, a central text in the Understanding Self and Mind series. Rinpoche suggests that much of what it means to be human is connected to our use of language. During these three days, we’ll explore core aspects of “speaking human”—from language’s role in establishing and solidifying identity to the functions of naming and labeling in how we frame reality. Experiential practices will help cultivate a deeper relationship with our senses and perceptions. Teachings from Padmasambhava will highlight the hazards of ordinary speech and the power of mantra.
