In this workshop, we will experience various meditation techniques, to discover which ones work best for you, in order to relax the body, calm the mind, and refresh your whole being.  We use gentle movement practices: Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga, to integrate and balance body and mind. Breathing tools stimulate healing energies. Visual imagery and sounds with known healing properties nourish the senses. We can learn to release grasping tendencies to get it ‘right’; to get somewhere else, outside of ourselves. We can learn to feel contentment, to appreciate who we are, right now, through awareness of our being. This class is appropriate for new beginners, as well as for those who have dipped their toes into meditation previously, looking for further support and guidance.
