Patrul Rinpoche writes in Words of My Perfect Teacher, “Meditation on impermanence is the prelude that opens the way to all practices of Dharma,” [p. 58]. As we welcome the coming of fall, join us for practice and discussion on the importance of impermanence for understanding the Dharma. How can we use change to heighten our awareness of joy and purpose? Using Patrul Rinpoche’s text, we will explore how transience and understanding the defects of samsara can lead to full awakening.
